They are crunchy, they are salty, but can they be healthy? While we should definitely be mindful of how much processed food we eat, sometimes we have to dive straight into those cravings. I LOVE chips, so I had to do some leg work to figure out which are going to be the best option for when they are all I can think about.
Here are my favorite ones:
1. Boulder Canyon Avocado Oil Potato Chips: One of the biggest problems with chips is that they are cooked in seeds oils which cause inflammation in our bodies. Avocado is a great healthy fat, as is its oil. These chips have minimal ingredients, and they even come in individual snack bags that I can give my kids to bring to school or camp.
2.Terra Chips: Plantain. These chips are absolutely delicious, super crunchy and they are cooked in heart healthy coconut oil. With only three ingredients, these are a great choice.
3. Siete brand: This is my favorite brand for chips. They use only the best ingredients, good quality oils, and have a huge variety. My favorite are the Lime Grain Free version. Use CODE LRW25 for 25% off of your first order.
4. Sweet Potato Awesome. These are straight up sweet potato AWESOME!! They are crunchy, they are salty, and they are incredibly satisfying.
