I have a sweet tooth!

When it comes to cookies, there are a few varieties that are tough for me to pass up. Since I do like to have something sweet pretty much every day, I do try to make my own cookie so I can be more in charge of what goes into them. Specifically the sugar source and quantity of it. Here are three of my favorite cookie recipes that use a small amount of maple syrup.

3-Ingredients Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

1 C peanut butter (I like to use crunchy for this one)

1 egg

1/4 c maple syrup

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a sheet tray with parchment paper.

  2. Combine all of the ingredients.

  3. Using a cookie scooper to portion out the dough, roll each into a ball. Then using the back of the fork, flatten them out.

  4. Bake for 15 minutes. Transfer to a cooling tray

Tahini Cookies

Ingredients

1 1/2 C almond flour

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 C tahini

1 tsp vanilla

1/4 cup maple syrup

2 tbsp sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a sheet tray with parchment paper.

  2. Combine all of the ingredients except the sesame seeds.

  3. Using a cookie scooper to portion out the dough, roll each into a ball. Flatten them and then dip into the bowl of sesame seeds.

  4. Bake for 15 minutes. Transfer to a cooling tray

Easy Breezy Chocolate Chip Cookies

1.5 Cups Almond Flour

1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut

1/4 tsp salt

3 tbsp coconut oil melted

1/4 cup maple syrup

1/4 cup chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a sheet tray with parchment paper.

  2. Combine all of the ingredients except the chocolate chips together. Mix well

  3. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  4. Using a cookie scoop to portion out the dough, roll each into a ball. Flatten onto the baking sheet.

  5. Bake for 15 minutes. Transfer to cooling rack.

Let me know which one you end up making.
